Malmö Opera (SE) and The Norwegian National Opera (NO) have now released their upcoming operatic season of 2018/2019. Malmö Opera's new production of Bizet's "Carmen" will play in-house and on tour for the entire autumn of 2018, and feature Aleksander Nohr as Escamillio in his swedish debut. Immediately after this production ends, rehearsals start for the norwegian premiere of Britten's "Billy Budd" at The Norwegian National Opera. A great cast of norwegian, and international, male singers will perform this wonderful opera on the nations main stage for the very first time in the start of 2019. The production features Aleksander Nohr in his debut as Mr. Redburn.

Aleksander Nohr and pianist Sofia Wilkman received 2. prize for their performance in the Copenhagen Lied Duo Competition 2017. They were also awarded the special prize for best performance of Danish repertoire. Aleksander and Sofia are happy and thankful for this great honour. Read more about repertoire and the competition
